2.0 is finally hitting the screens on November 29 this year. Touted
to be the costliest Asian film, 2.0, which is a sequel to the blockbuster
2010 film Enthiran, is currently in its post-production stage.
Interestingly, 2.0 music composer AR Rahman was recently asked about
the progress of the film. The Academy Award winner had revealed nice
things about the film.
Talking about its visuals, Rahman stated that only
Shankar is capable of pulling off such a film. Rahman, who had seen some
portions of 2.0, went on the record saying that the climax scene is
nothing but incredible. The news has now piqued the curiosity of fans,
who have been dying to see the film on screen.
Directed by Shankar, the makers hosted a grand audio launch last November in Dubai. In fact, both the songs of 2.0 have
gotten terrific response from the audience. Also starring Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain in important roles, 2.0 is made on a whopping budget of Rs 500 crore.
The film was initially planned for a release on the Republic Day earlier in January. However, the release was affected due to
pending VFX work.
