Thalapathy Vijay-starrer blockbuster entertainer ‘Mersal’ continues to woo the international audiences. If reports are anything to go by, Thalapathy Vijay has been nominated under Best Actor and Best International Actor in the prestigious International Achievement Recognition Awards 2018 (IARA) for his performance in ‘Mersal’.
Reportedly, Vijay will be competing with actors John Boyega, Jamie Lomas, Chris Atoh, David Tenant, Jack Parry Jones, Daniel Kaluuyaa and Zack Morris for the award.It must be noted that ‘Mersal’ won the Best Foreign Language Film Award at the 4th edition of the National Film Awards UK recently.Made on a lavish budget, the film was produced by Sri Thenandal Films. Directed by Atlee, the film also starred Samantha Akkineni, Kajal Aggarwal, SJ Suryah, Nithya Menen and Sathyaraj in important roles.
