Suriya and filmmaker Selvaraghavan have teamed up for the first time for a project titled NGK .An update of will be released by the makers on July 23 to coincide with the occasion of Suriya’s birthday. The film is currently in the final stages of shooting and Suriya is expected to join the team to wrap up his pending portions after completing the London schedule of Suriya 37.
Bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures, NGK also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi as the leading ladies.The movie has cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan of Iraivi fame and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Reports indicate that the film would hit the marquee as a Deepavali release and will likely lock horns with the Vijay starrer directed by AR Murugadoss.
After wrapping up NGK, Suriya will start shooting for his action thriller film with director KV Anand by the end of this year, which also stars Mohanlal in a pivotal role.
