Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra are all set to reunite after four years for Ekta Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh’s yet-untitled production.
The film marks the directorial debut of Prashant Singh, who has previously assisted Aanand L Rai on the Kangana Ranaut-starrer 'Tanu Weds Manu' and on 'Raanjhanaa' that had marked Tamil actor-filmmaker Dhanush’s Bollywood debut opposite Sonam Kapoor.

Now, Mirror has learnt that Sidharth and Parineeti are gearing up to kick off work on the new film next week.
“The entire film is set in Uttar Pradesh, where the first schedule will take off, and Bihar. In this film, Sidharth and Parineeti will be seen in desi avatars and
the actors have already started prep for the film, which includes getting the Bihari accent right,” informs a source close to the development. Recently,
Sidharth and Pari had made a joint appearance at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s engagement bash and while exiting a suburban hotel on Monday after
completing prep for the film.
Meanwhile Ekta, who is basking in the success of her last release 'Veere Di Wedding', which featured Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and
Shikha Talsania, is looking forward to the follow-up. “That’s my Grease Lightning (a 1977 American biographical film of champion race driver Wendell
Scott) in today’s times with Sid. Set in a small town of North India, it’s my most massy film,” she had earlier told Mirror (May 7).
After Ekta and Shailesh’s production, Sidharth is scheduled to start work on the biopic of Kargil war hero Vikram Batra, while Parineeti recently wrapped
up Vipul Shah’s upcoming romcom 'Namaste England' opposite Arjun Kapoor in London and will also be seen in 'Kesari' with Akshay Kumar.
