Interestingly, reports are now doing the rounds that veteran actor Nasser’s son, Abi Mehdhi is likely to be roped in to play an important role.If reports are to be believed, then the project will mark his acting debut. However, we await an official confirmation regarding the same. It must be noted that Abi’s brother,Luthfudeen has acted in films like ‘Saivam’ and ‘Parandhu Sella Vaa.’ Prior to this,Tollywood actor Nithin was approached for the film. However, he turned it down due to date issues. Tipped to be an emotional thriller, the film stars Akshara Haasan in a pivotal role.Music composer Ghibran will be scoring the film. To be produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, the project is expected to take off sometime in August. The film was initially written for Ulaganayagan. However, the actor turned down the offer due to prior commitments.

Apparently, Vikram will have no pair in the film, but there will be two ladies playing the female leads, Akshara Haasan and Meera Mithun (8 Thottakkal fame).
