Kollywood has been going through a rough couple of months due to the ongoing TFPC strike. The films which were all slated to hit the screens has been pushed to a later date. According to few whispers across the media, the strike will most probably be called off by the end of this week. However, we await official confirmation on this.
On that note, if rumours were to be believed, industry reports suggest that first the smaller budgeted films, which has already obtained their censorship certificate will be given the first preference by the TFPC to release their films.
Rajinikanth's Kaala has been the most anticipated movie of the month. It was slated for an April 27 release, but now it is speculated that, the makers have now decided to push the release date to June 15, on Eid weekend. It is worth mentioning that the Kollywood Superstar will mostly clash with Bollywood's star as Salman Khan's race 3 is also scheduled to hit the screens on the same Ramzan weekend.
