Iconic Actor Rajinikanth’s upcoming gangster drama, Kaala has wrapped up its entire post-production activities and is ready for release. The film was initially scheduled for an April 27th release but due to ongoing film industry strike by the Tamil Film Producer’s Council (TFPC) the release was postponed.The film completed censor formalities long back but the board refused to give UA certificate unless the director agrees to the suggested cuts. After much-discussion, it has now been passed by the Board with 14 cuts.Now, as the censor formalities have also completed, one can expect an official announcement regarding the film’s exact release date soon.Kaala is directed by Kabali fame Pa Ranjith.Tamil and star hero Dhanush has produced the movie. The film features several popular Tamil, Telugu and Bollywood actors.Lyca Productions had acquired the film’s theatrical rights for a whopping 125 crores.
