Deepika's Padmaavat, which crossed Rs 500 crore at the worldwide Box Office. But now all eyes are on Deepika as fans want to know what the actress is planning on doing next. She had started prepping for Vishal Bhardwaj‘s Sapna Didi biopic, but owing to her back pain issue and Irrfan Khan’s ailment, the film has been indefinitely pushed. However, we now hear that the leggy actress may be on the verge of signing a Hollywood project.
She made her Hollywood debut with the Vin Diesel film xXx : Return Of Xander Cage in 2017. Since then she had not done much internationally. However, with the actress’ schedule now clear with Vishal Bhardwaj’s film being pushed, she has all the time to work on her career in the West. Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying, “With actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, who play some of the best roles Bollywood has to offer, on the lookout for similar characters in Hollywood films, it is imperative that they spend time to get these roles. While their agents will work on screening the films and managing scripts for the same, these stars will need to go meet, audition and screen test as well for all the characters for the films made by Hollywood majors.”
