As reported earlier, actress Sanusha recently faced a disheartening incident on her train journey. She was molested by a man while she was asleep and not many people came forward to help her.
Following this issue, actor and director Sasikumar took to his Twitter page to condemn such actions. He said, "பெண்கள் à®®ீதான பாலியல் வன்à®®ுà®±ை கண்டிக்கத்தக்கது. ஆனால் உடனடியாக உதவிக்கு வராமல் வேடிக்கை பாà®°்ப்பது மனிதத்தன்à®®ையற்றது. பெண்ணின் பொதுவெளி சுதந்திà®°à®®் காக்கப்பட வேண்டுà®®்." This roughly translates to, "Sexual violence against women is condemnable. Also, it is lack of humanity when you don't offer help immediately and just stand and watch. The freedom of the woman should be protected."
