Jipsa Beegam, who essays a key role in Omar Lulu's Oru Adaar Love, has fallen prey to online abuse. Morphed photos of the actress have surfaced online and are being spread widely by miscreants.
Jipsa who was also part of the trending song Manikya Malaraya Poovi starring 'wink girl' Priya Prakash Varrier and Roshan Abdul, said in a Facebook post that she would soon file a case to nab the people who are responsible for morphing her pictures and spreading them online.
She also said that those who indulged in the act would be punished severely.
She said, "I am not the very first victim of cybercrime. Controversies don't bother me and I have a personality of my own. So you all should see this post as a protest to that person or persons who have been insulting me, sitting in the virtual world of the internet. I just have one thing to say to that person who morphed my face onto a headless obscene picture that you shouldn't take out your frustrations on common people like us."
She further warned that she was taking the case to the Kerala police to investigate.
"To those who enjoy those pictures thinking that those are mine, you shouldn't forget that the Chinese phones won't be as good as the real iPhone," she wrote.
