The opening sequence of the period film starts with Akshay Kumar in a drunk avatar, where he is frustrated for playing in English Hockey team. Akshay later decides to coach the Indian hockey team and from there on we see the inspiring journey of Indian winning the first Olympic gold medal as a free nation.
